| The FAA says En
Route Center Controllers give aircraft instructions, air
traffic clearances, and advice regarding flight conditions
while en route between airports. Center controllers use
radar, or in some cases, manual procedures to track the
progress of all instrument flights within the centers airspace.
Oh, and when workload permits en route controllers also
provide radar service to pilots who are not on instrument
flight plans.
How hard can that be? Look for someone with
this Center Logo and ask. You will find why the Centers
are the tops of Air Traffic Control facilities.
